What grade levels and subjects do we teach?Currently we are focused on K-12 all subject areas and some college level classes. AP classes and SAT/ACT prep (along with other standardized testing help) is also available. Some of our tutors can even help with specialized musical training! Because we love music, we hope to offer more music tutors/lessons at exceptional pricing in the near future.

What are the rates for tutoring?- In home and remote tutoring is $50/hr. -Home School Setting $55/hr. pooled rate for 1-5 students; $65/hr. pooled rate for 6-10 students.

How do we establish pricing?We surveyed tutors and local tutoring companies to assure that our prices are competitive.

Do our tutors come to our home? Do they offer remote tutoring?Some tutors can come to your home, but most offer remote teaching. Remote platforms are agreed upon by the client/tutor.

What geographic areas do we serve?Currently, remote tutors can tutor students from almost any location, while our in-home tutors are specifically available only in the certain areas in Michigan. However, as we grow we will expand in person tutoring services.

How do we know that the tutors are experts in their field, reputable, and professional?First, we fully vetted each tutor by conducting an extensive interview process, background and reference check, and made sure their credentials were in order. In addition, we ask for continuous feedback from our clients to assure full satisfaction.

What if we are not happy with our tutor?At Parental Choice Tutoring, LLC, we want all of our clients to be satisfied. However, if the tutor/client relationship doesn't seem to be working, please contact us via email or phone at least one week prior to the next scheduled appointment and we will fix the problem. Whether that means prompting a discussion to remedy the problem, or finding you another tutor, we will do what it takes to make you happy.

What is the minimum amount of time for each session?Our tutors will only book in person sessions with a minimum of one scheduled hour. However, we encourage our tutors to be flexible and offer additional hours upon request.

How do our tutors choose what to teach or how to assist the student?It is up to the parent and student to dictate the needs and material to be covered in each session. If you would like our tutors to plan the session based on areas of academic challenge, they can prepare lessons. The tutor/client would have to agree upon any additional time.

Is Parental Choice Tutoring, LLC, insured?Yes. Our company has Business Liability Insurance.
